Spring Break 2013

Prom '13

So my sob story for prom! Lets just say this whole thing didn't have the best start, but that's a story for a different time! To begin with, Milo Marsh asking me wasn't quite what I had in mind but I had this beautiful dress that I wanted to borrow really bad. How Milo asked me... too awkward to even say, lets just say, it wasn't looking very promising! But my dress was beautiful and I told myself I could do this! I had tried the dress on plenty of times and was confident that it was going to work. So the day date was a blast! I knew the group was going to be a lot of fun if I didn't have to go anywhere alone with Milo. Amori went with Forrest Factor, Travis Kinslow took my really good friend Amy Saunders and Milo took me. So we went to Forrest's house and watched Here Comes the Boom and Wreck it Ralf, so much fun! We then played pool and ate a super nice dinner. We were running about 2 hours late but we didn't really care about the dance so it wasn't that big of a deal. Amy came and got ready at the house while I ran down to Danice Hewards to get my hair done. I came home and got ready to put my dress on when disaster happened! While zipping it up the zipper split and there was no way to fix it! The boys were only 20 minuets away and I was dress less! With the quick thinking of Jullie, we called Danice and found out that Tinsley had last years dress! Through the emotional meltdown, Jullie and I headed down to hurry and get that dress on! It fit perfectly and may have even looked better than my original dress! We made it back home in time for Sarah Ash to show up and finish getting ready. The boys showed up and we exchanged flowers and what not and waited for Sarah's group to show up and get her. She went with Alex Bryant, she was in the same boat as me. The date was beyond awkward but the dress was just too pretty! All in all the whole thing turned out ok but man does it feel good to have it be over!

Jace & Conn

Here are some pics of Jace's baptism. Me and Conn became best buds, one night Jaymie was super tired and Conn had taken a super long nap that day so I sent her off to bed and me and Conn chilled watchin movies downstairs till he fell asleep at about 12:30.. what else are Aunts for besides letting you stay up past your bed time!?!

So one day my friends Kelsie and Gretchen were in Julie Ericksons class and Gretchen was wearing a BYU shirt and Julie HATES BYU so she kicked them out of the class.. only in Star Valley right?.. but any way, they came up with this plan of retaliation and the day they had planned on was a day that Gretchen was sick. So Alyssa, Kelsie and me took over. We had been asked to help at the pre-school for a1/2 hour 2 times during the day and we were school excused for the whole class hour so we did our 2nd hour class shift at the pre-school and then went and made these blue and white chocolate chip cookies during lunch. We then left for our 3rd hour shift and at the end of that we went to the school and went into Julie's room and posted BYU things everywhere! we had streamers all over the place, baloons, posters for the walls and wrote all over her white boards!! We high tailed it out of there and the next day she was asking if anyone knew who did it! she had a pretty good idea that it was us and took it like a champ..she even retaliated with her famous water bottles and brought UW posters for her room..so I guess I now know what the life of a senior feels like!

So my really good friend Amy came over one night and we made this cake that she found on Pintrest and it turned out really interesting..It tasted really good though so I guess looks dont matter! haha

So I went and watched Les Miserables and fell in LOVE! So I've been on a slight obsession but this quote is part of a song and I love it!..While in my abundance of spare time I waste my life away on Pintrest and find things that just make me go " Story of my Life".. this is one of them :)
